Neil James Richardson

Contract Manager

Neil started his career as an electrical trade fitter. From 1974 to 1984 he became a foreman supervisor for Richardson Drilling. Here Neil gained experience in investigations drilling, water wells, piling, grouting and general foundation work. From 1988 to 2001 Neil managed the water well division, and assisted with the general management of the company. During this period Neil developed specialist knowledge in all aspects of water well construction. He also developed his capability in tendering, contract management and company management. Neil is now Contract Manager and has general responsibility for all contracts and operations undertaken by the company.

Roy Williams

Project Manager

Roy began his career in 1975 as a pile rig operator and gained hands on experience on all types of foundation constuction for bridges, buildings, and wharves. From 1980 to 1999 Roy was site foreman for a wide variety of foundation construction works. His specialisation is in all aspects of deep foundation construction works. He has specific training and certificates in blasting techniques and site safety.

Since 1999 Roy has been a project manager for Richardson Drilling. He is responsible for the selection and allocation of plant and staff resource, client liason, site management and onsite problem solving, production and performance management.

Ross Thomas Richardson

Project Manager

Ross is a qualified fitter, turner, and welder. He also holds certificates in site safety, crane operation and first aid. From 1975 to 1980 Ross was a pile rig operator, and from 1980 to 1999 was a site foreman supervisor for Richardson Drilling. Ross has specialist skills in foundation construction. This includes large diameter cylinder piles, concrete pile driving, H piles, raked piles, anchors and soil nails.

Since 1999 Roy has been a project manager for Richardson Drilling. He is responsible for the selection and allocation of plant and staff resource, client liason, site management and onsite problem solving.

Norman William Richardson

Plant and Maintenance Manager

From 1964 to 1980 Norman developed his skills as a fitter, turner, welder and workshop foreman. From 1980 Norman has been in charge of all Richardson Drillings equipment. His technical skills are in all aspects of the mainenance and reconditioning of all equipment belonging to the company. He also provided expertise in the construction of new equipment, and special solutions that are often required on site.
