The company commenced operations back in 1927 as a Water well contractor, however as times have changed, has developed expertise in Structural Test Drilling, Rock Anchors, Pressure Grouting, Cast-in Situ Piling and Angle Hole Drilling.

Diversification into these areas has broadened the company’s operating base and reduced the exposure to one area of operation only.

Today piling, rock anchor, pressure grouting and structural test boring form the greater part of the company’s work, with water well work still a traditional part of our operation.

Richardson Drilling Company Limited was incorporated a a company in 1982 by the present directors upon taking over controol of the company from the senior family members at the time.

The business commenced operations in 1927 under control of the present director’s grandfather and has remained in the control of the family members to this day.
